
Principle
The gold washing drum screening vehicle is mainly composed of a drum screen, a motor, a reducer, a frame, a sealing cover, an inlet and outlet, etc. The motor is connected to the drum device through a coupling via the reducer, and drives the drum device to rotate around its axis. The material enters the drum from the feed port, and under the action of the screen on the inner wall of the drum, materials of different particle sizes are separated and discharged from different outlets. During the rotation of the drum, the rolling grinding principle similar to that of a ball mill is used to make the flushing cleaner and the scrubbing more thorough, so that large pieces of waste rock that do not contain gold can be screened out, leaving the gold ore on the gold-sticking cloth, or entering other selection equipment such as centrifuges and shaking tables.
Structural composition
Drum screen: It is the core component, usually with a multi-layer screen design, which can separate materials of different particle sizes as needed.
Power system: Generally, a diesel engine or an electric motor is used as the power source to provide power for the screening equipment and the water pump system.
Feeding device: Including silos, etc., used to store and transport materials to be screened, and can use a variety of feeding methods such as small excavators and loaders.
Water supply system: Including water pumps, water pipes, etc., responsible for flushing the materials. The internal flushing of the hopper is responsible for the first flushing of the materials and pushing the materials into the drum screen. The central flushing of the drum screen is responsible for the main flushing of the materials. The side flushing of the drum screen is responsible for flushing the fine screen outside the drum screen to prevent clogging.
Mobile frame: It adopts a wheeled chassis, which can be towed by a traction vehicle, which is convenient for mobile operations in mining areas with complex terrain. Some of them also adopt a steerable design and can turn 180 degrees on the spot.
Application scenarios
Individual gold diggers or small-scale gold placer mining: suitable for mining shallow mineral sands such as riverbeds and alluvial layers. The equipment is easy to move and simple to operate, which can meet the needs of small-scale operations.
Small and medium-sized gold placer mines: The operation location can be flexibly transferred. For small and medium-sized mines that need to frequently change the mining area, it can improve the utilization rate of equipment and reduce mining costs.
